A Mossy Duck Gems modern take on the classic emerald-cut that lets the light flow up and down the stone in a glittering trail, this sunstone is from Spectrum Mines in Plush, Oregon. This stone was specifically cut to allow the golden champagne of the base material to contrast the rich red of the copper inclusions that give sunstone it's iconic red "dot." The resulting stone is a warm and robust bicolor stone that shimmers like sunset across the water.
Easily my favorite sunstone I've ever cut. And it's not even close.
